Answer: I don’t care!! And not because of his sex life but because I think it really means squat if he were to win the Olympic games golf event that was only recently added to the list of Olympic sports at the 2016 Olympic games in Brazil.

With the mass media coverage of Tiger’s infidelities, the man has suffered and continues to suffer at the hands of his sponsors. They have either already dropped him or announced they are reviewing whether to continue him as the sponsor of their products.

Amazing – we just can’t leave it at the fact that Tiger Woods is the best golfer that has ever played the game, we have to dig and dig deep into his private life. Same as we have done with Michael Phelps and his bong. Shouldn’t our news networks rather focus on some real news from around the world instead of feeding us the garbage of his love life?

But that’s typical American puritan preoccupation with sex. On one hand we profess to keep sex and nudity out of limelight of our environment in order to curb sex crime and bring up our children right, and on the other we smother our news with the most bizarre coverage of it.

We love to put pictures of men that were caught soliciting prostitution on a public website and announce the link in our media. We have congress discuss what to do when Jane Jackson’s nipple appears during Super Bowl for millions to get a fraction of a second look at it. And we must open local evening TV news with a story of a woman getting arrested for breast feeding in Wall-Mart.

What are we accomplishing with all that? Do we have less sexual predators or less prostitution? And of course we all have already been told that Tiger Wood’s story will constitute direct hit on PGA earnings, golf equipment sales and profits in general.

Will Tiger Woods be at the Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games 2016 in Brazil? I don’t care whether he will or will not, nor do I care about any of the negative impact on golf his love life now has, I just wonder – who are we?

Let Tiger play golf and enjoy his amazing skill! Nothing else matters if you love golf!

I find it very interesting as I surf the web checking out marketing strategies of other business owners, I do this from time to time to get an idea of what works and what doesn’t. It’s also a great way to tweak my marketing strategies and learn from successful business owners online. I’ve come across some great ideas which have really helped me a lot with my business. And I’ve also come across some really bad content out there, mainly having to do with relevancy to target audiences and niche markets.

When you think about it writing for your target audience is just a matter of giving your market what they want that’s it pure and simple. You could never sell a steak to a group of vegetarians so why would you write a meat lovers article targeted towards vegetarians, I actually saw an article like this it totally blew my mind. And it was kind of funny because the author didn’t have a clue to why so many negative comments were left on his blog post.

Writing relevant content is also a great way to please the search engines, because the major search engines know that when a searcher types in a keyword or keyword phrase in order for searcher to have a pleasant search experience the results that come back better be relevant to what they were searching for. If you stay relevant by providing timely content on a consistent basis for what your market is looking for you will never go wrong when it comes to pleasing the search engines and humans as well, this is Kevin Thomas hope you enjoyed this relevant content.

A degree in communications offers many different fields of study from this basic idea. When you do a preliminary job search, it can look like there aren’t very many jobs for communications majors. After all, it is not like most areas of specialty where all the jobs are in the same thing. For example, if you major in business, you can find all the opportunities you like on a business jobs website. You have to be a little more clever if you choose communications as your major.

Jobs for communication majors depend heavily on your other skills and interests. Many communications majors, understandably, like to go in to advertising. If you have an advertising degree in addition to your communication major, there are a lot of doors open for you. You’ll be able to work in both traditional advertising and more novel types such as viral marketing. Getting the contacts you need for success is vital and having a background in communications opens this door.

Most jobs for communication majors are related to public relations. Being a communications major almost guarantees you an interview with a public relations firm. After all, even fresh out of college they can assume that you are skilled at representing clients and spin doctoring whenever the situation calls for it. Do not forget first impressions. It can make or break your career.

Of course, there are also jobs for communications majors in nonprofit industries. If you really want to use your communication skills to make the world a better place, this can be one of the most promising career fields for you. National and international non profit organizations need communications personnel just as much as regular businesses. Communication majors taking these types of jobs get to be involved with their own pet projects and help out causes they believe in. What could be better than that?

Of course, if you are in the unfortunate position of not finding any of these career paths appealing, don’t despair. A major in communications is a respected liberal arts degree that will open up many other venues for you. You could be a traffic coordinator, A retailer shipping manager, or really anything else you put your mind to. Majoring in communications opens up many doors, but it doesn’t close very many. The world is wide open for any career you choose to pursue.

The Auction House is one of the least physically risky places in the World of Warcraft. You don’t have to worry about bloodthirsty orcs or marauding centaurs breaking in. You can go about your business and hopefully earn some gold. On the other hand, there is nothing but physical danger all around you if you find yourself in the Dragonblight. It is one of the most forlorn places in the entire World of Warcraft. It is a land of snow and ice where dragons go to die. The only moving creatures you will find are undead parasites hiding among the bones of the great beasts.

Occasionally a quest will take you to the fringes of this world; earning Dragonblight gold is a mark of a very brave warrior. It may soon be that many people have to cross the Dragonblight as there is a rumor that it is the best way to reach the Lich King.

However, in the meantime, it might be better to stay closer to home and get your gold through the Auction House. Even though the physical dangers are less there, there are still a great many mental challenges as you navigate through the principles of supply and demand to try and turn a profit on your purchases.

It may seem a little counterintuitive that you can make WOW money by buying things, but that is actually true.

If you have the time to hang around the Auction House and at least ten gold to your name, then you can start to make a profit buying low and selling high. The first to maximizing your purchases is to watch the markets for about a week. See what items are selling for what prices. See if the price of certain items is higher on a weekend than on a weekday.

See what commodities are plentiful and which are scarce. If you can find a veteran player who will share his long-term view of the Auction House, you are set. If not, you just need to keep observing.

After about a week of watching, you are ready to start buying. Look for items that are priced below their usual going rate or the rate they can reach on a weekend.

The middle of the week is a good time to find underpriced items; there are less people on the server and therefore less potential buyers. If someone needs to earn gold from a sale, they will price their item to sell. Then, just hold onto the item until the weekend and you should be able to sell it for up to double what you paid. Continue to reinvest your profits and soon you should find yourself with a tidy sum.

Buying low and selling high is a steady way to earn income. It is also fun, especially if you use economic principles in your real world job. While Dragonblight gold can be very exciting to earn, sometimes the risks involved will chase you back to the safety of the Auction House.

To learn more about how to make WoW gold, a good World of Warcraft gold guide is recommended.

Las Vegas has grown in the last few years, some of the landmark hotels have been imploded, while being replaced by mega hotels and convention centers.
According to the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, in 2002 more than 5 million convention and trade show delegates traveled to Las Vegas, generating $5.9 billion in non-gaming revenue. Las Vegas hosts a large percentage of the top conventions and rents more convention space than any other U.S. city. The climate is not usually a factor unlike others cities which have to contend with excessive rain, snow, etc. The city has grown to accommodate the needs of exhibit and convention attendees.

Las Vegas has grown since then, we have seen world famous hotels imploded, like the Dunes, Sands and the Stardust hotels; while being replaced by mega hotels such as the Wynn Hotel Resort, the Venetian, Luxor and the Mandalay Bay, etc. We now have more places to hold conventions. We have seen the Las Vegas Convention Center expand into a mega convention center, while the Sand Convention Center and the Mandalay Bay are not far behind. These convention halls have host such conventions and trade shows like CES, INTEROP, THE GAMING SHOW, SEMA, AAPEX TRADE SHOWS and thousands more.

One exhibit house that has catered to quite a few of these shows is ELDS, Inc, providing the convention exhibitors with custom built exhibit booths either for rental or purchase. ELDS is a full one shop exhibit house that will not only design and manufacture your next trade show display, but will also transport and set up your booth in any location in Las Vegas. See the options available for exhibiting in my previous article “trade show displays; rental vs. purchasing or leasing”. Las Vegas has done a great job of providing a great backdrop for convention goers. Let’s not forget about the gaming industry, restaurants and hotels that cater to such shows and venues.

The city had to expand to accommodate all the conventions that are coming to each of these hotels and convention halls. With the growth of more conventions and mega hotels; a new monorail system was developed. This system runs along the Las Vegas strip to most of the major hotels and convention halls. It’s a quick and easy way to avoid traffic congestion. This system can reach speeds of up to 50 mph, with seven stops. It reaches one end of the Las Vegas strip in 15 minutes or less; it’s cost-efficient and hassle-free. This cuts down on the large amount of parking that is needed. The convention attendees and weekend vacationers can now feel assured that they can escape the traffic jams that other cities experience.

The nightlife, well, what can I say, it’s something that you have to experience “what happens in Las Vegas stays in Las Vegas”. Let your hair down and enjoy yourself.
Currently, Las Vegas has 9 million square feet of convention and meeting space, including the Las Vegas Convention Center’s recent South Hall expansion. Additional available convention space significantly increased in 2003 thanks to the opening of Mandalay Bay’s 1.5 million-square-foot conference center. The city is still growing as more and more hotels are being built, with conventions facilities attached. With over 127,000 guest rooms in hotels and in close proximity to McCarran International Airport, the Las Vegas Convention Center is among the largest convention centers in America. For more information in exhibiting in Las Vegas please contact ELDS, INC .

Why bother?

The life blood of any business is good customer service. Although you should try and attract new customers good customer service will help generate customer loyalty and encourage repeat business. With every satisfied customer your business is likely to go on and secure many more customers through recommendations and if you do not take proper care of your customers there is probably a competitor waiting in the wings that will.

A customer satisfaction survey will help by not only identifying problem areas but will also demonstrate to your customers that you care and are proactive in looking for ways to improve the service that you provide.

Where do you start?

Objective - Before you start compiling your survey consider what the objectives of the survey are, in that way you will remain focused and find it easier to decide what questions to ask.

Analysis - Once the survey has been completed consider how you will analyse the answers.

Keep in mind that ‘closed’ questions (where the respondent is asked to choose from a limited number of responses) are easier to analyse than ‘open’ questions (where the respondent can reply in anyway they want).

A lot will depend on the likely volume of respondents, the higher the volume the more important it is to have an easy method of analysing the results.

Opportunity – As well as obtaining valuable market research data keep in mind that customer surveys are also a good way to advertise areas of your service that your customers may not be aware of.

Before publishing the survey read through the survey from a market research view point to confirm that you are asking the right questions in the right way and that your chosen answer format will provide you with feedback that will allow you to make informed decisions.

Then, from a marketing view point read through the survey, confirm that you have phrased each question so that every opportunity has been taken to promote your business?

The ideal question will perform the following three functions:-

  • Market research - provide valuable feedback to help you improve your customer satisfaction levels and in turn your business
  • Marketing - promote aspects of your business
  • Information/Education - advertise a service that you provide that your customers may not have been unaware of

For example:- Do you find the in-store baby changing facilities useful?

By asking this question not only will the store receive good market research feedback on the facility they provide but they will also promote their facilities and advertise themselves as a family friendly store, even beyond those customers who have a specific need for the baby changing facility that has been provided.

Warts and all – to benefit most from a customer survey you need to be prepared to dig deep and accept the worst.

A customer satisfaction survey should be designed to identify any problem areas so that they can be fixed; conducting regular customer satisfaction will help prevent complacency and will also give early warning on where you may be losing business to your competitors initiatives.

What to ask?

Each business is likely to have unique factors in relation to providing good customer services however there are common areas that are going to be relevant to all businesses be they a physical store, online store or a service industry. The following are some key areas to providing good customer service.

Communication - What do you do to make it easy for your customers to communicate with you?

When a customer telephones is their call answered promptly; are enquiries about products or services handled properly? A good business will make every effort to ensure that whatever the customers query it is resolved by the right person, quickly, politely and fairly.

If a problem cannot be resolvable immediately do you promise to respond in a given time period and do you deliver on your promise?

Use a customer satisfaction survey to confirm that your customers find all your staff to be helpful, courteous and knowledgeable.

Location – Do your customers find it easy to visit you, if a physical bricks and mortar store, is it conveniently located with good access?

Making it pleasant, making it easy - For a virtual business it is important to ensure that your website is easy to use and aesthetically pleasing.

Regardless of the store being a bricks and mortar or purely an online internet store, is the store properly laid out, can your customers find what they need and is there sufficient information and help on hand to explain how a particular product works?

The right quality products – You should not only measure the quality of the service that you provide but you should also monitor that the products and services that you market are what the customer wants and closely match their expectations.

Value for money – Cheap or expensive is rarely a good measure, value for money is.

Do your customers consider your business synonymous with value for money, if not, why not?

Speed and attention – Customers want to be dealt with quickly but attentively.

Are you doing everything you can to avoid delays?

Customers like to be treated as individuals, how do you treat your customers? Attention is appreciated but it needs to be followed up with a quick and satisfactory resolution to the query.

Demographics and Specific issues – Take the opportunity to profile your customers, for example what is their age group and where do they live?

The more you try to understand your customers the better you will be able to target your business.

Within the survey encourage customers to highlight any problems and provide contact details so that their concerns can be investigated and followed up.

What is next?

Once the survey has been completed analyse the results.

Trends – Look for common and specific areas where the service is failing.

Ask yourself honestly if any criticism that you receive is valid and if there anything that can be done to resolve or minimise the problem?

Training – Are all employees properly trained and do they have sufficient knowledge?

Where employee training programmes have been implemented have they had a positive impact on the business?

Follow-up – If a customer who has completed a survey has raised a specific issue ensure that they are contacted and their complaint addressed.

Don’t squander the opportunity to resolve a problem and keep a customer.

Continuously Monitor - Make changes based on the survey results and then re-measure by issuing follow up surveys.

If you are concerned about customer satisfaction and would like to view a sample survey for a store that will demonstrate some of the above advice please view the Sample Customer Survey

Other than spending a small fortune on a hybrid car or electric car, commuting by bicycle is probably the best way to save gas and improve the environment. When selecting your next (or first) bicycle, it’s important to understand the different bike types. These tips will help you understand the basic categories..

Road bikes, also known as racing bikes, are generally built for speed and riding on smooth surfaces like asphalt. Because of this they often sport very narrow tires, drop handlebars (to put the rider in the most aerodynamic position), and multiple speeds (12-24 gear positions is common). Racing bikes follow the same basic layout, but with a very lightweight frame. Although road bikes and racers can be used for commuting, most casual riders opt for comfort rather than speed.

Mountain bikes are built less for speed and more for durability and control. These bikes have much larger tires, raised handlebars that put the rider in a more upright position, and are generally (but not always) heavier. Since mountain bikes are intended to be used on trails and steep inclines, the gear ratios are generally lower than that of road bikes. Some mountain bikes have up to 36 gears, advanced suspension systems to handle bumpy trails, and it is now common to find disc brakes on one or both wheels. These bikes are good for commuting, especially if some of that commute is over uneven or dirt or gravel roads.

Hybrid bikes attempt to combine the best of road and mountain bikes, and are intended to handle most commuting situations. These bikes come equipped with narrower tires than mountain bikes, suspension systems for the occasional bumpy road, comfy handlebars and saddles, and often come with pre-fitted fenders and luggage racks for bicycle bags. Many hybrids are geared much like road bikes, while others limit the number of gears to a minimum (5-7 speeds) or have the gears “sealed” in the rear hub (3-5 speeds). Hybrids are usually the best bike to choose for most commuting situations, and are a great choice for casual riders.

Many other specialized types exist, from single speed cruisers to very specialized off-road “rock riders” and BMX racers. However, most cyclists will do quite well to start from the list above. Use this guide as a starting point, try out a few models of each type to see what’s best for you, and then start riding. You won’t regret it.

It’s not hard to see why people flock to Hawaii. The island atmosphere, the beautiful beaches, the exotic food - it’s all part of Hawaii’s charm. These cruises often feature special children-appropriate shows and entertainment. Water-slides and pillow fights are some of the fun, family-oriented activities available on family cruises.

Hawaii wedding cruises and other such romantic cruises are a favorite with couples who are in love. Hawaii wedding cruises focus on the love of your life and take you to some rather unique places in Hawaii. Imagine the stars above you and the gentle, twinkling ocean bellow while you have a romantic candlelit dinner. Situations like this and more await you on a Hawaii wedding and honeymoon cruise.

Have you ever considered striped waterbed sheets or bed in a bag sets or even bed in a bag sets lately? Our bed sheets really are an important part of the overall bedding items used on a bed, and without any question of doubt, the higher the quality bed sheets used, the happier you will be when you’re tucked in for the night. So many of us focus on the covers, and pillows, but the fabric we lay on also plays a big role in providing us with a good quality sleep. When I shop for new sheets I always look for the ones with a thread count of at least 300.

Bed sheets are available in two types: flat and fitted. A flat bed sheet is nothing more than a rectangular-shaped piece of linen. A fitted bed sheet features four corners with elastic bands around the edges and is used as a bottom sheet. A reason for using a fitted bottom sheet is to prevent it from slipping off of the mattress while the sleeper moves around on the bed. A unique method of folding and tucking while making up a bed is referred to as “hospital corners,” and this is typically employed when the bottom sheet is flat as opposed to fitted. Remember, bed sheets are a critical factor in feeling the quality of your bed, and as we spend on average one third of our life there, we may as well make it as comfortable as possible, so buy good quality linen.

Cotton is by far the most popular material because it is snuggly in the winter and cool in the summer (although they have to be warmed up in the winter first). There’s just something about sinking into a bed with high quality cotton sheets. In addition to being comfortable, manufacturers tend to produce them in more styles and colors (than other sheet types) to keep up with the consumer demand. What about you? Are you a cotton person or silk? Do you want a frivolous thread count, or will 250 do? Think about your options carefully before you shop for bed sheets and then enjoy your choice.

If your website was one of your sales staff would you be happy with his results? A good website design should deliver you quality leads and generate a return on your investment - not just than just sit there and look good.

Remember that website design is a marketing activity not a technology decision. So many people seek out a web developer as their first port of call when they need a website. But that’s putting the cart before the horse.

Your first activity when contemplating a website should be to think about your marketing objectives and what job you need your website to do for you.

To do that let us revisit the sales person analogy. If your website was a sales person what should its sales process be? How will it get customers to engage with them and your company. Thinking about this analogy forces you consider what information and functions your website needs to get you real sales results.

For a start, You need to arm your online salesperson with information to they can appear knowledgeable about the benefits of your products and services. He needs to be able to succinctly articulate what your unique selling proposition is.

You need your salesperson to acknowledge that customers are different stages of their buying process and therefore have different informational needs. For example, provide product comparisons for people who haven’t yet decided on the right product, but also provide in depth product information for those who are further advanced in their decision process.

You need people to trust your online salesperson too, so consider what do you need to do or say on your website to engender trust. Even the aesthetics of your website can contribute to trust. A shabby looking website from 1992 isn’t going to help your image.

Not everyone will buy or engage on their first visit. Your online salesperson needs to provide a reason for the customer to come back. Constantly updated content gives people reason to return. Make sure your website is a worthy destination. A website that never changes is like a retail store that doesn’t change their window display. It makes people think they’ve already seen everything you have to offer and they won’t bother to come in.

At some stage in the process, your online salesperson needs to ask the customer’s name and contact details. To do this, you usually need to give them the promise of something in return (eg. early notification of specials, a free assessment). This is a critical point in your sales process. Now your visitor isn’t anonymous, he has a name and you know how to contact him and have permission to do so. At this point, you can call them an actual “lead”. Yippee.

Once your online sales person has promised something they have to deliver. They need to follow up on their promise. If you promised email notifications of sales, make sure you do it. Take every opportunity to re-engage with them. That means more opportunities to communicate with your customers and ultimately make sales.

If you actually want to sell your products online, at some point you need to facilitate the sale. Online shopping cart facilities make this easy. Design your sales process so that it provides a good shopping experience. No-one likes waiting in a checkout queue and similarly online shoppers don’t like clunky purchase processes.

So when you’re ready for a new website - remember, the brief to your web designer should read more like a job description than a shopping list.
